Bardiel: 13th Angel

Appears in: Ep. 18. Named after Barachiel, Angel of Haze. A parasitic Angel which takes over Eva Unit 03, a new Eva that was being transported from the US. Gains all of 03's properties and strengths. 00, 01 and 02, go to battle, only for 02 to be instantly defeated and 00 & Rei to get almost taken over. Shinji defeats it, breaking Bardiel's neck & shredding it.

Zeruel: 14th Angel

Appears in: Ep. 19. Named after Zeruel, Angel of Strength. Has a chunky body with foldable, paper-like arms that cut through almost anything. Shoots a laser from its face, which melted 18 layers of the GeoFront's armor in one blast. This took Ramiel over 10 hours. Unit 02 was first defeated, and shortly after 00. 01 goes berserk before completely getting killed, going rampage & finishing Zeruel off by literally eating it.

Arael: 15th Angel

Appears in: Ep. 22. Named after Arael, Angel of the Birds. A glowing, winged Angel, which shoots a beam of light that directly reaches the target's mind. It first attacks Asuka, making her traumas resurface & lose synchronization with 02. Was finally defeated by The Spear of Longinus thrown by 00.

Armisael: 16th Angel

Appears in: Ep. 23. Named after Almisael, Angel of the Womb. Ring-shaped glowing Angel which attempts to fuse with the Eva & pilot. Tries to fuse with 00, and also with Rei's mind. Gendo tries orders 01 to save Rei, only to also get nearly taken in. Rei reverses 00's AT Field, and sucks the Angel into 00's core, turning 00 into a giant, white, naked Rei, similar to Lilith, before self-destructing & killing Armisael.

Tabris: 17th Angel

Appears in: Ep. 24. Named after Tabris, Angel of Free Will. Appears in human form, Kaworu Nagisa, with the soul of Adam. Can control any Evangelion he wants, even from the outside. Becomes friends with Shinji during his time in Tokyo-3. After Shinji had to fight 02 and Rei cut out Tabris' AT Field, Shinji gets ahold of him. Kaworu tells Shinji to kill him, and after flashbacks of their friendship & hesitation, crushes Kaworu in 01's hand.
