ART III - Equality Before The Law
It's 2016. The world gets smaller every day, since we use social media not just to flex with our new sneakers and fits, but, moreover, to actually communicate with people from all over the globe. A new generation of young people which feels deeply connected by sharing the same passion, political views, and love for sometimes superficial but always fierce issues is roaming through the digital streets without even questioning the colour, religion, or sexual orientation of the other.
It's 2016. Donald Trump is the new president of the United States. Police brutality towards black people is on a new high. The right-wing parties in Europe are growing stronger every day. Hate speech is more alive than it has been for a very long time and 49 people died in Orlando, because of a crime towards their sexual orientation.
It’s 2016. Two opposing versions of our reality are facing each other: A world where people, separated by thousands of miles, are starting to become brothers and sisters and a world where people are scared of their neighbours, of different minds, and of a piece of fabric, called the Hijab.
It's 2016! This is not the kind of twisted reality we want to live in. This is our world. Racism and homophobia won’t take us back to 1933 Germany or Jim Crow. It’s time to take some action. We have to remind ourselves again what kind of world we want to live in and what values this world should be build upon. It’s time to bring our opinions, values, and believes back to the streets and into the minds of the people around us – back to the real life.
ART III

(2) Men and women have equal rights.
(3) No one may be prejudiced or favored because of his sex, his parentage, his
race, his language, his homeland and origin, his faith or his religious or
political opinions.
In the aftermath of the deadly shooting in Orlando, a hate crime which was exclusively aimed at the gay community, a group of future fashion journalists – together with their mentor and teacher, Fabian Hart – decided not to stay quiet and, instead, to use their creativity and voices to get these important words back to the streets and back into the minds of the people. Thus, they designed a T-shirt with the simple but even more direct and important claim "ART III" to remind people about Article 3 of the German Constitution, the most important mind-set and starting point to build and obtain the society we want to live in.
I’m more than happy and proud to be a part of this important project, which takes my and your core values back to the streets and back into the reality we want to live in. Together with my extraordinarily pretty face and a well-respected group of way more creative people of all kinds of arts, backgrounds, and lifestyles, you can join this movement by getting one of those shirts for yourself to show your support and help at the very same time.
All proceeds will go directly to the Hamburger society “Basis und Woge” which is taking care of young people that had to face discrimination because of their sexuality, colour, religion, and/or origin. Seriously, we don’t need any of this shit ever again and I would love it so much if I saw some of you guys supporting this cause and actually buying a T-Shirt here.
