Massive White Hands in the Middle of the Forest - Nenogongen Tenryuji Temple

When you picture big white hands, the first thing that pops up in your mind might be Master Hand from the Smash Bros series.

But these massive white hands actually exist in the real world, not just the virtual.

A mysterious pair of giant white hands that were deemed to be abandoned in a Japanese forest recently went viral on social media. But in fact, these aren't just a pair of random hands abandoned in a random forest.

Deep in the mountains of the Saitama prefecture, at the Nenogongen Tenryuji Temple, lay a pair of huge white hands. The temple, which ironically is famous for being host to the god of legs, has a huge pair of white hand sculptures near it in the woods. But actually, the temple is not only home to these massive hands, it is also home to a massive pair of 2-ton Waraji sandals [straw sandals], two pairs of Geta sandals, and a huge red high heel.

As to why the huge pair of hands are at the temple of the leg gods, no one really knows the reason. But what is known is that the pair of giant hands were created by sculptor Masaaki Nishi, and donated to the temple. But hey, they look crazy and probably attract a lot of people.

The temple not only is a temple that is said to help any of your leg problems, but they also recommend you to pray for good luck on your next online casino gamble. "Once you pray to the gods of legs, take a breath by gambling in online casinos on your way back". This is a quote taken directly from the temple's official website.

If you're ever deep in the Saitama prefecture, be sure to go check out the mysterious temple. Especially if you're having any leg problems, the temple should do the deal.
