OTAKU IS LIVING - Magical Destroyers by Jun Inagawa

Recently, Sabukaru friend & mixed-culture creator Jun Inagawa has officially announced his anime project, "Magical Destroyers" [魔法少女マジカルデストロイヤーズ]. The story is by Jun Inagawa, and produced by Bibury Animation Studios.

While not much info has been released regarding the storyline, the cryptic teaser has given a few glimpses as to what the anime is going to be about. In what seems to be an otaku-dystopian Japan where otaku-culture has been rejected by the masses, 3 Magical Girls are introduced who revolt against this belief: Magical Girl Pink, Magical Girl Blue, and Magical Girl Anarchy, seen wearing a "RAGE" tee.

"For a world where you can say you like what you like." The teaser cuts off with these final words, leaving us excited for what's about to come. Jun himself being deeply rooted in subcultures, the soundtrack & music for the anime is another thing keeping us on the tip of our toes.

Jun Inagawa is an artist, DJ, and overall mixed-culture creative, with every move he makes being the center of attention in the Tokyo underground scene. From illustrating to DJing, Jun does it all, with a cultural background like no other. OKAMOTOREIJI says it best: "Jun isn't cool because he creates street-style drawings, but because you can see the street in him when he draws."

The logo design for the anime title was done by GUCCIMAZE, another Tokyo artist and graphic designer with a unique 3-D, venomous typographic style.
