An Amalgamation of Cyber-Dreams, Nightmares, and Cryptids - GOODNIGHT

Founded by Bunka Fashion College graduate Miguel Angel Negrin, GOODNIGHT comes from the desire of collaborating with designers and influential figures in the design, fashion, and music industry, with inspiration from many music scenes like speedcore, black metal, and hardcore music scenes.

After years of experience in the fashion industry, Miguel was driven by a great desire to share his style and vision with other creatives through collaborative long sleeve shirts, while also incorporating his black metal and hardcore elements which derive from his youth in Florida's music scene, and accessories that obscure the face to stay anonymous and avoid detection from modern-day tech. The cut and sew is made out of luxurious fabrics, with the yarn being sourced from Manchester, knitted in Leicester, and made in London. GOODNIGHT adds the twist of using high-quality fabrics, which aren't typically used in band merchandise.

For the very first drop, GOODNIGHT has collaborated with Paul Nicholson, creator of the infamous Aphex Twin logo and Laughing Man from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, to bring a vision of tech and sci-fi to life, as well as with Miigo, who has worked with names like Petra Collins and SSENSE, who creates retro depictions of Anime that hint back at the 90s and 00s.

For this series, GOODNIGHT turned to tsutomuono to shoot the lookbook, and Yosuke Shoji on the styling. Inspired by their project "Kanojo Wa Zettai ni Kanojo Janai", which is being serialized in the magazine Quick Japan, actress & former idol Chika Arakawa was chosen as the model.

GOODNIGHT's first release will be held on July 23rd at New C's Studio from 11AM JST with guest DJ appearances, and an online release the same day at 12AM JST.
