ASICS X SHUSHU/TONG

By now, it should be more than obvious that we at sabukaru are big stans of everything ASICS are putting out as of late.

Not only has the Japanese sportswear giant been consistent with bringing obscure classic sneakers back to light, but have also been steadfast with partnerships, continuing to push the node of what exactly we love about collaborations: daring.

SHUSHU/TONG is a Shanghai-based womenswear label known for its unwavering focus on feminine styles, only with a twist that has increasingly caught the attention of showgoers and feed scrollers. Established by London College of Fashion MA graduates Liushu Lei and Yutong Jiang in 2015, womenswear's rising double threat has been persistently unapologetic with the use of delicate ruffles and bold bowknots, redefining what the boundary between girl and woman looks like.

As for the ASICS collaboration, it looks like we are getting a host of apparel true to the Shanghai-based label's vision, but more interestingly, it looks like a collaborative sneaker in two colorways is on the way. Whether you like it black or white, for date nights or casual strolls, the big bowtie is sure to elevate your outfit with at least five levels of kawaii.

A stark contrast to the highly technical silhouette synonymous with the Japanese sportswear giant, SHUSHU/TONG's touch is simple yet disruptive, which the campaign shots effectively communicate the womenswear's rising duo's imaginative world.
