The Tokyo Chu-Hi Interviews Return - Konbini Confessions Season 2
King Miyachi returns with season 2 of his mega-hit series, Konbini Confessions.
For those of you who don't know, Konbini Confessions took the internet by storm last year with rapper Miyachi interviewing the people of Japan, with a microphone in one hand and a can Chu-Hi [Japanese alcoholic beverage]. Miyachi even has a song called CHU-HI, expressing his love for the beverage. Typically shot at night, Miyachi goes around with his can, asking some important questions like "What is your meaning of life?" to random people in the streets. And keep in mind, it is legal to drink & be drunk in public in Japan, so a good portion of Miyachi's interviewees are completely out of it.
The very first episode of season 1 had to be in none other than the heart of Tokyo, the best & worst district, Shibuya. In this episode, he interviewed anyone from drunks, a rather old Vegeta, people lining up for ramen, and a dude taking a piss in the streets.
For season 2, Miyachi starts off in Osaka, the heart of the Kansai region. Tokyo and Osaka have a love-hate relationship, and it's only right that Miyachi interviews both sides of the spectrum. Title "Osaka Rainy Day Blues", Miyachi once again takes to the streets with his microphone and a Chu-Hi, this time interviewing not only people but opening up the video with a cockroach interview. A TikTok clip with Miyachi and the cockroach racked up over 1 million views.
