Heightened Sense - A Snake Cannot Eat a Dragon

No stranger to Sabukaru Online, Heightened Sense is back once again flipping fashion on its head, disrupting the norm, and bringing a chaotic twist to apparel with its latest collection, titled ‘A Snake Cannot Eat a Dragon’. The L.A based brand yet again invites us into a world of military-like armour meets contemporary fashion with their new release, consisting of a full capsule with accessories, pants, tops, and a jacket.

Key products from the release include DR4GN SKIN [a neoprene racer jacket] which is effectively a second skin. Primarily for motorcycle riders, the aerodynamic jacket is wind repellant and includes laser cut perforation to allow heat to escape. As well as that, the collection includes a SC4R Messeneger Bag, featuring a newly developed ‘Chameleon Leather’. This custom leather shows a matte white finish but when exposed to UV rays will change to a very strong dark yellow. The stand out detail though across the entire collection is the aluminum cast zipper pulleys that have been anodized in a variety of colors and used throughout the collection, set to be a signature detail in future collections. 

Usually focusing on the adaptability of products and the pursuit of craftmanship, this collection instead is more focused on wearable and every-day style, with the traditional Heightened sense filter added on top. With hints of a pirate theme, you can see bandana’s styled with stripey trousers, tight and slightly cropped tops with abstract dragons emblazoned on the front, and an overarching theme of futuristic roughness throughout. 

With their previous releases, ARMOR! and now this current collection, we continue to keep a close eye on the brand as it progresses. Never the normal, and always striding in an outlandish yet understandable direction, Heightened Sense is a true up and coming brand that excites us.
