Right to Challenge Fashion: Kusikohc
As Korean influence continues to over-take the creative world today, Korean clothing brands have also been on the rise, constantly penetrating the global fashion community. Today, we introduce you to Kusikohc, one of the coolest, most experimental up-and-coming Korean brands.
Founded by Cho Gi-Seok, a South Korean photographer whom we’ve introduced in one of our recent articles, Kusikohc is one of Cho’s creative outlets for his aspiring visions.
The style of Kusikohc is very versatile, putting out items ranging from bombers to cardigans, runway-looking backpacks to street-style graphic tees. They have the absolute ability to make everything look cool with their sharpest sense of fashion.
Their slogan, which is also the title of their recent collection, “right to fail”, implies the brand’s intention to challenge the rules of fashion.
One of the brand’s signature designs, the Origami Hoodie, features a double layered fabric handmade into a folding look that resembles the feel of origami paper.
